Do you have firearms that you'd like to sell? Bring it to us, and we'll either buy them from you or sell them on a
consignment basis. If you'd like, we would be happy to assist you in pricing your item. We'll help you determine
the best price for you, while providing a good value to our customers.
Our consignment fee is 15%. Our minimum consignment fee is $50.
If your firearm doesn't sell in 30 days, we ask that you reconsider your selling price.
All return to owner transactions require a NICS background check and federal paperwork. A fee will be
charged for all return to owner transactions.
INCOMING: Our transfer fee is $40.00 with cash/check or $45 with credit card per firearm. If you have multiple,
we will usually work with you on our fee. We will not accept any transfer unless we are notified ahead of time
and have spoken to the buyer and the shipping dealer. The Shipping Dealer must send us a signed copy of
their FFL, and the firearm must be determined to be Massachusetts compliant.
OUTGOING: Our transfer fee is $40.00 with cash/check or $45 with credit card per firearm, plus $15 for
packaging, plus shipping and insurance fees per firearm. If you have multiple, we will usually work with you on
our fee. If you provide your own packing materials and box, we will waive the packaging fee. If you do package
your own firearm, DO NOT SEAL THE BOX. We must check the serial number on the firearm before shipping.
Shipping fees will be based on USPS Next Day Air on all handguns, and USPS Ground delivery for all long
guns. UPS and FedEx are also options.
We want you to be satisfied with every purchase, and we will make every effort to resolve any problems.
However, we offer no warranties or guarantees other than those supplied by the manufacturers of our products.
The warranty period varies by manufacturer and product.
All accessory returns must be made within 7 days of purchase. Items must be in new/ unused condition in
original packaging. Items will be inspected by a First Defense Firearms, Inc. staff member for signs of usage,
tampering, exchanged parts, scratches, dirt, alterations, or other signs of use. There are no returns for gun
parts. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. For mail order items, shipping fees will not be refunded,
unless it is our error. Special orders cannot be returned unless approved by a First Defense Firearms, Inc.
Due to the nature of certain products, some are not returnable. These products include, but are not limited to,
guns, gun parts and optics. If there is an issue with any of these products, we will work with the manufacturer to
make sure that everything is taken care of for you. Buyer's remorse and spouses giving you a hard time do not
qualify for returns.
Pre-owned firearms will have a 3 day inspection period from the date of purchase. If there is a manufacturers
defect, we will work with you in getting the firearm repaired. After that time, I will help facilitate communication
with the manufacturer, but shipping and repair charges will be the responsibility of the new owner. New guns
cannot be returned. If there is a manufacturers defect, we will work with you in getting the firearm repaired.

Gun Cleaning and Inspection
Deposits are non-refundable. In order to transfer a previously paid deposit to another class date, you must
reschedule seven days or more from the original class date. If you cancel the week of the class, there is no
refund or store credit. If you do not show up for a class, you forfeit all funds previously paid. As you can
understand, we lose a spot for the day if you do not show up.
